Drei Jahrzehnte lang wurde EnduRoMania als organisierte Veranstaltung durchgeführt: mit Anmeldung, Kontrollpunkten, Auswertung und Siegerehrung. Nach 30 aktiven Jahren ist dieses Kapitel abgeschlossen.

For three decades EnduRoMania ran as an organised event: with registration, checkpoints, scoring and an award ceremony. After 30 active years that chapter is closed.

2025 war das Jahr des Übergangs zu Free-EnduRoMania. Der Gründer hat sich aus der Begleitorganisation zurückgezogen. Geblieben ist das Wesentliche: ein offenes Gebiet, ein Netz von Gästehäusern, aktuelles Kartenmaterial und Menschen vor Ort, die weiterhelfen.

2025 was the year of the transition to Free-EnduRoMania. The founder has withdrawn from the accompanying organisation. What remains is the essential part: an open region, a network of guest houses, up-to-date maps, and people on site who will help.

Die neue BasisThe new base

Zentraler Treffpunkt ist das Ferienhaus der Familie Hromadka in Brebu Nou Nr. 162 (Weidenthal), Kreis Caraș-Severin. Das ursprüngliche EnduRoMania-Gästehaus wurde 2024 von einer rumänischen Firma übernommen, die dort geführte Touren im Fly-&-Ride-Modell anbietet; das Hauptquartier zog in das Nachbarhaus der Familie Hromadka um.

The central meeting point is the Hromadka family holiday home at Brebu Nou no. 162 (Weidenthal), Caraș-Severin county. The original EnduRoMania guest house was taken over in 2024 by a Romanian company offering guided tours on a fly-&-ride model; the headquarters moved next door, into the Hromadka family house.

Es gibt keine Aufsicht, keine Startzeiten und keine Wertung mehr. Gruppen fahren eigenständig und in eigener Verantwortung — auf öffentlichen Wegen legal, in Waldgebieten nur mit der erforderlichen Genehmigung.

There is no supervision, no start times and no scoring any more. Groups ride independently and on their own responsibility — legally on public roads, and in forest areas only with the required permission.
