Nach 30 aktiven Jahren ist die offizielle EnduRoMania-Veranstaltung abgeschlossen. 2025 war das Übergangsjahr: Das Grundprogramm bleibt kostenlos und das Gebiet offen, aber es gibt keine begleitende Organisation mehr. Treffpunkt und Basis bleibt das Ferienhaus der Familie Hromadka in Brebu Nou Nr. 162.
After 30 active years the official EnduRoMania event has concluded. 2025 was the transition year: the basic programme stays free and the region stays open, but there is no accompanying organisation any more. The meeting point and base remains the Hromadka family holiday home at Brebu Nou no. 162.

EnduRoMania wurde vor drei Jahrzehnten gegründet, um den ländlichen Südwesten Rumäniens wirtschaftlich zu stärken — mit Endurotourismus als Motor. Daraus entstand ein belastbares Netz aus Unterkünften, Wegen und Freundschaften.
EnduRoMania was founded three decades ago to strengthen the rural south-west of Romania economically, with enduro tourism as the engine. What grew out of it is a durable network of accommodation, trails and friendships.
Die Idee selbst ist älter und kommt aus Peru: Wüstentouren in den späten 1970er- und 1980er-Jahren lieferten das Konzept, das später in die Karpaten übertragen wurde.
The idea itself is older and comes from Peru: desert tours in the late 1970s and 1980s produced the concept that was later transferred to the Carpathians.
Trail Riding heißt hier: verantwortungsvoll und auf bestehenden Wegen fahren, nicht Wettkampf. Kein Motocross, kein Enduro-Rennen — sondern Landschaft im Schritttempo der Neugier.
Trail riding here means riding responsibly and on existing tracks — not competing. No motocross, no enduro racing: landscape taken at the pace of curiosity.
Kooperation mit der TRFCooperation with the TRF
Ende September 2025 wurde in Brebu Nou eine Zusammenarbeit mit den britischen Kollegen der Trail Riders Fellowship vereinbart, um legales Trail Riding in Europa weiter zu fördern.
At the end of September 2025 a cooperation with the British colleagues of the Trail Riders Fellowship was agreed in Brebu Nou, to further promote legal trail riding in Europe.
