It all started back in 1995 with the help of the NRW Land. Since then, these more and more popular Endurotravelling-events have been held 17 times in Romania. In the fifth year 1999, 500 people took part in 4 events: 164 from Germany, 31 from Austria, 21 from the Netherlands and many other countries (CH, CZ, DK, F, FI, H, I, PL, RO, S, UK and USA). We also enjoyed at EnduRoMania 99 the company of over 50 Enduro-girls who have achived good results: e.g. Claudia Fischer from Vienna, was first with her team "Waldesruh" - Silence of the Forest ;-)) in Sept 99 and second in June 99.
